Photography is something that I have always had a passing interest in but never had the time or money to develop any capabality with
The advent of digital cameras soon meant that cost of film and processing brought the cost of the learning curve down and with decent dSLR bodies at reasonabl prices, you can get set up relatively cheaply
I started out using a Fujifilm Finepix S602Z - a smashing little camera - which let me have enough control to learn the basics of my new hobby
Last year I moved upto a Pentax k10d, with a Tamron 18mm-250mm lens which is much more of a 'serious' camera, though your Nikon and Canon users tend look down on Pentax. I'm really pleased with - the Tamron is a good lens and I'm beginning to get comfortable shooting in tricky light conditions
Anyway for the moment I've just put an old album from a trip to Nepal back in 2004 - these were all taken on the Finepix
When I get an opportunity to look through the thousands of images I have on my hard drives and filter the worthy ones in to some meaningful albums, I'll add more.
If there is an image or images that you like or would like to use, drop me a line with the album name and image no(s) and we'll see what arrangement we can come to.
Peace,
Stuart
The diary of a family uprooted from their home in sleepy Oxfordshire to the even sleepier south west France. Adjusting not only to the change of country, culture and language but also to the time-shift as they cope with a region clinging tenaciously to the mid-20th century.
A child's eye view of the world as reported by Harmonie Bliss and her little brother Phoenix Beau. Adventures in paint, sand, water, tears, smiles and laughter.
A repository for my creative urges - whether they be photo-maniupulation, music creation, exercises in video, short fiction or whatever happens to be pushing my creative button at the time. This is all personal fun and not client related.
A gallery of my photos that I feel are good enough for public consumption. I hope that you do too.
